Press release: MetLife has been named one of Fortune’s “World’s Best Workplaces” for the second consecutive year, securing the 10th position in the 2025 global ranking. The recognition emphasises the life insurer’s continued commitment to building an empowering, inclusive and purpose-driven work culture across its operation in more than 40 countries, including Bangladesh.
The Fortune list, considered one of the most respected global benchmarks of workplace excellence, is compiled based on more than 90 lakh survey responses and insights drawn from the work experiences of over 2.5 million employees worldwide. Companies are evaluated on employees’ satisfaction, workplace environment, organisational values and their positive impact on society and customers.
MetLife President and CEO Michel Khalaf said the achievement highlights the dedication and forward-thinking mindset of the company’s workforce. “Being recognised for the second year in a row is evidence to our employees’ commitment to advancing our purpose,” he said. He added that MetLife’s New Frontier Growth Strategy is strengthening a culture where employees are encouraged to reach their full potential while shaping long-term value for stakeholders.
As one of the world’s leading life insurers, MetLife continues to focus on employees’ well-being, community impact and responsible business practices-factors that contributed to its repeat global recognition.
