IDRA holds workshop on drafting national livestock insurance policy

Staff Correspondent: The Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) has organised a workshop aimed at formulating the National Livestock Insurance Policy 2025.

The workshop was held on Sunday (March 15) at the IDRA office in Dhaka. It was chaired by Md. Fazlul Haque, Member (Administration) of IDRA.

Mohammad Abu Bakar Siddique, Member (Non-Life) of IDRA, attended the event as co-chair.

Officials and representatives from several key government bodies participated in the discussion. These included representatives from the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, the Finance Institutions Division (FID), the Department of Livestock Services and IDRA.
