Press release: Astha Life Insurance Company Limited has signed an agreement with Pulse Healthcare Services to introduce a comprehensive telemedicine network for policyholders and corporate clients, strengthening its commitment to innovation in customer care and health protection.
The signing ceremony, held on Sunday (12 Oct) at Astha Life’s headquarters in Dhaka, was graced by Brigadier General Shah Sagirul Islam, NDC, AFWC, PSC (Retd), Chief Executive Officer of Astha Life and Founder of Pulse Healthcare Services Rubaba Dowla.

Under the partnership, Astha Life’s policyholders, corporate officials and employees will get uninterrupted 24/7 access to professional medical consultations through an advanced online telemedicine platform. The service includes specialised doctor appointments, home sample collection, lab report and medicine delivery, and ambulance booking- offering end-to-end healthcare convenience.
Brigadier General Shah Sagirul Islam said Astha Life, working under the visionary leadership of its Chairman and the Chief of Army Staff, remains the only life insurance company of its kind accessible to the general public. He reaffirmed the company’s pledge to uphold transparency, answerability and reliability- pillars that have helped restore public trust in the life insurance sector through its ‘New Era of Insurance’ initiative.
Pulse Healthcare founder Rubaba Dowla expressed optimism that the partnership will enhance countrywide access to quality healthcare, merging trust with technology. “Our mission is to bridge the gap between general public and healthcare through digital innovation,” she said, saying that the collaboration marks a vital step in delivering public welfare through cooperation between the insurance and health sectors.
