Bengal Islami Life and BRAC Healthcare sign agreement to enhance health services

Press release: Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited and BRAC Healthcare Limited have entered into a strategic corporate agreement aimed at expanding affordable, high-quality healthcare access for health takaful customers. The signing ceremony was held on Wednesday (19 Nov.) at Bengal Islami Life’s head office in Motijheel, Dhaka.

The agreement facilitates Bengal Islami Life’s takaful policyholders to receive specialised medical services and exclusive cost-reduction benefits across BRAC Healthcare branches, including Mirpur, Uttara, Siddheswari and Gulshan/Badda. Customers will also benefit from preferential rates on essential treatment and diagnostics, significantly easing their economic burden during medical needs.

M M Monirul Alam, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bengal Islami Life and Dr Taufiqul Hasan Siddiqui, Head of Healthcare Enterprise at BRAC Healthcare, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. Senior officials from both organisations were present, emphasising the partnership’s strategic importance.

The collaboration further includes Full Medical Report (FMR) services for prospective takaful clients aspiring new policies, facilitating faster and more efficient policy onboarding. Employees, customers and their families will also enjoy special privileges like video consultation, specialist physician access and comprehensive medical check-ups.
