Sandhani Life receives ICSB silver award for the second time

The recognition is widely viewed as a witness to the company’s consistent performance, institutional discipline and commitment to ethical management practices. It emphasises Sandhani Life’s strategic focus on strengthening governance framework and maintaining transparency in financial reporting, which are important to building long-term stakeholder confidence.

The award ceremony was held recently and attended by senior policymakers and regulators. Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Adviser to the Ministry of Commerce, was present as the chief guest, while Lutfe Siddiqi, Special Envoy on International Affairs to the Chief Adviser, attended as the guest of honour. Among the special guests was Md. Khairuzzaman Majumder, Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Mahbubur Rahman, Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce. The event was also graced by Dr Md Sajjad Hossain Bhuiyan, Chairman of the Bangladesh Financial Reporting Council, alongside other distinguished guests.

Sandhani Life Chairman Mojibul Islam and Chief Executive Officer Nemai Kumar Saha received the award on behalf of the company. The achievement highlights Sandhani Life Insurance’s enduring commitment to good governance, regulatory compliance and sustainable growth.
