Karnaphuli Insurance Approves 10% Cash Dividend for Shareholders

Press Release: Karnaphuli Insurance PLC has approved a 10% cash dividend for its shareholders for the year 2025. The approval was given at the company’s 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM), held virtually on Thursday (July 9) through a digital platform.

The AGM was chaired by the company’s Chairman, Nizam Uddin Ahmed. Vice Chairman Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Directors Riaz Uddin Ahmed, Rakiba Banu, Sabita Ferdousi, Dilruba Sharmin, Umme Khadija Meghna, Independent Director Md. Hafizullah and Mahbuba Hossain attended the meeting.

Chief Executive Officer ANM Fazlul Karim Munshi, Chief Accounts Officer Main Uddin, ABIA, FCS, and Company Secretary FJM Hafiza Sultana were also present at the AGM.

All agenda items of the 39th Annual General Meeting were approved unanimously by the shareholders. Expressing gratitude, Chairman Nizam Uddin Ahmed thanked the shareholders for their continued support and confidence in the company.

The chairman said that Karnaphuli Insurance PLC achieved growth in premium income and profitability during 2025. He also appreciated the efforts of all employees for their contribution to the company’s performance.

He further highlighted that the company achieved a ‘Triple-A’ credit rating, reflecting its robust financial position and operational stability.
