MetLife Offers Free One-Year Insurance for Suzuki Motorcycle Buyers

Press release: MetLife Bangladesh and Rancon Motor Bikes Limited have signed an agreement to provide one year of free insurance coverage for customers purchasing new Suzuki motorcycles in Bangladesh.

Under the agreement, customers who buy a new Suzuki motorcycle from an authorised Rancon Motor Bikes dealer or flagship showroom will automatically receive the insurance cover. The policy will take effect from the date of purchase and remain valid for one year.

According to the policy, the insurance provides financial protection in the event of accidental death or permanent disability, subject to the policy's terms, conditions and coverage limits.

Both new and existing Suzuki motorcycle owners will also be able to enrol in an optional insurance plan. The policy includes benefits such as reimbursement of accident-related medical expenses and a daily hospital cash allowance if the insured person is hospitalised for a specified period, subject to the policy terms.

The companies said all insurance benefits would be provided in accordance with the policy's terms, coverage limits and other applicable provisions.

The agreement was signed by Ala Uddin, Additional Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of MetLife Bangladesh, and Kazi Ashiq-ur-Rahman, Executive Director of Rancon Motor Bikes Limited.

Senior officials from both organisations were present at the signing ceremony.
