Ping An Good Doctor Profit Jumps 63.5% on Health Growth

Int’l Desk: Ping An Good Doctor delivered a sharp rise in profitability for the first half of 2026, with profit attributable to owners of the parent climbing 63.5% year on year to $32.5 million, or RMB219.3 million. The Chinese healthcare platform, formally known as Ping An Healthcare and Technology Company, also posted a 37.7% increase in adjusted net profit to $33.6 million as total revenue reached $368.0 million, equivalent to RMB2.48 billion, according to its half-year results.

Growth was driven largely by the corporate health management business, which generated $105.9 million in revenue, a 65.1% jump from the prior year and now representing 28.7% of the group’s total, up 11.5 percentage points. Commercial insurance enablement remained the larger contributor at $234.4 million. Over the past twelve months, the corporate health unit served more than 7,700 paying clients, an increase of over 73%. The company has built more than 500 sites under its Ping An Circle network, offering consultations, check-up interpretations, chronic disease management and medication guidance.

Home-based senior care services expanded to 140 cities, with more than 310,000 customers eligible by the end of June. Among Ping An Home customers, the average first-year premium on new life policies rose 9.7 times. The medical network grew to 3,216 Ping An Selected Hospitals, including 1,732 tertiary Grade A facilities, supported by a doctor pool of about 50,000 in-house and contracted professionals, of whom more than 3,700 are experts.

AI capabilities also advanced. The AI Doctor service was used by more than 9.7 million people during the period and has been rolled out across every application in the wider Ping An Group network, reaching 100% of retail customers. AI-related activities contributed roughly 4.6% of gross profit.

Management said it will keep developing its managed care model by combining medical services with the group’s insurance and financial strengths, while further refining its large medical model and specialised AI tools.
